Hello, I’m Coach Guerrero (or Coach G)! I’m excited to share a little bit about my journey with you. This is my first year as a teacher, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to return to San Marcos High School—where my journey as a student and cheerleader began. Being a part of the cheer program at SMHS shaped who I am today, and it’s an honor to come full circle and give back to the team that inspired me.

Growing up in San Marcos, I’ve always loved this community. My family and I are active members, and we take pride in being involved. I believe in the power of strong support systems, and I’m grateful to have one of my own—my family, friends, and mentors. They inspire me to give my best every day, and I hope to pass that same encouragement and dedication on to my team.

Cheerleading isn’t just a sport; it’s a lifestyle that teaches teamwork, discipline, and pride. It’s about being there for each other through thick and thin, and I want my athletes to experience that firsthand. I'm here to guide and support them, just as I’ve been supported throughout my journey. Let’s grow together, both as a team and as individuals, and make this year unforgettable. #ALLIN
